The Bible has a lot to say about a variety of topics that affect kids today. We hope you’ll make Bible time a part of your daily routine so you can learn for yourself and be encouraged. In this issue of KidsView let’s take a look at that what the Bible says about promises. All you have to do is get your Bible (hard copy or on your iPad or iTouch), and look up these texts to see for yourself.
God is there for you today, through whatever is disturbing your peace.
Now matter where you are or what you have done, Jesus will not cast you away when you come to Him.
Psalm 27:13, 14
Be patient! Keep the faith! Be of good courage!
1 Peter 5:6, 7
Lay those burdens at Jesus’ feet (and don’t pick them up again when you finish your prayer!).
For those who love Him, God can bring something good out of every situation.
Philippians 4:6, 7
Don’t be afraid to tell God the whole story. Tell Him exactly how you’re feeling and ask for peace.
Romans 8:38, 39
Nothing can happen in your life that will keep Jesus from loving you.
Acts 2:38, 39
Worried about your salvation? Claim this promise. Believe it is written for you—because it is!
If you don’t see an immediate answer to your prayer, don’t lose heart! God is working on it. Trust Him!
2 Corinthians 1:3, 4
When God intervenes in your life and answers your prayer for help and comfort, look for opportunities to share that comfort with someone else in a similar situation.
