flag of denmarkJumbo Jump

Number of players:  8-20

Location:  Outdoors or gym

Divide the players into two equal teams. At the starting line, players take turns to make one jump with legs together. The second jumper from each team jumps from where the first jumper landed, and so on, until all players have made one jump.  The team that jumps the farthest distance collectively wins.

Number of players:  2-5

Location:  Outdoors or gym

When a player is tagged, he/she doesn’t become “It.” Instead, the player must hold one hand frozen in the place he/she was tagged. The second time a player is tagged, the second hand is frozen over the place he/she was tagged, while the first hand is still frozen in place. The third time a player is tagged, that person is “It.”

Number of players:  Any

Location:  Outdoors or gym

Choose a person to be the commander, and turns their back to everyone. As the commander counts, everyone moves closer to him/her. After counting to three, the commander will quickly look at the players. No one is allowed to move at that time. If anyone moves, the commander can point to that player and call them out, eliminating them from the game. When a player is able to reach out and touch the commander, that player wins the game.
