Big Decisions Today

Today was a busy day (get used to us saying that). Over in the Alamodome, delegates to this session (folks from different parts of the world especially selected to represent their country and vote on decisions), were part of the process of securing three important leaders for the next five years.

Elder Ted Wilson has been president since 2010. He was reelected today. Elder G.T. Ng was the secretary of the world church also since 2010 and he was reelected. The last position--treasurer--was open as the previous person, Elder Bob Lemon is retiring. So the new treasurer voted in is Elder Juan Prestol.

We had more booth fun, meetings lots of KidsView readers and making new friends as well.

Not so many pictures today, but a few interesting ones to keep you going. As we get ready for Sabbath over here, we'd lke to wish you a very happy one!

  • This little boy keeps busy with a laptop with his mom at the Alamodome.

  • A KidsView cowboy hat made it to the Alamodome today--and not on a kid!

  • Elder Wilson, left, greets young people at the event the night before.

  • Emma Korff from Maryland, took on our selfie challenge and posed with our hat at our booth! We'd love more of you to do the same over the next few days!

  • Grace Russell met our selfie challenge too! Who will be next?
